Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) defines the acceptable and unacceptable use of the ads.ponta.co platform and services (“Platform”) provided by Ponta Oy (“Ponta”, “we”, “us”).

By using the Platform, you agree to comply with this Policy. Violations may result in the suspension or termination of your account and legal action if required.

1. Prohibited Content

You may not upload, post, promote, or link to content that is:

  • Illegal: Includes anything that violates local, national, or international laws.
  • Deceptive: Misleading, fraudulent, or misrepresentative of the advertiser, product, or service.
  • Harmful: Promotes violence, hate, self-harm, abuse, or exploitation.
  • Adult-oriented: Pornographic, sexually explicit, or inappropriate for general audiences.
  • Malicious: Includes malware, phishing links, spyware, or any form of exploit.
  • Infringing: Violates intellectual property rights, copyrights, or trademarks.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Use automated bots or scripts to manipulate ad metrics (e.g., impressions, clicks)
  • Circumvent platform controls or reporting systems
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts
  • Exploit platform vulnerabilities or perform penetration testing without permission
  • Harass, threaten, or defame other users, advertisers, publishers, or Ponta employees
  • Misuse customer data collected through ad campaigns (e.g., spamming or unauthorized sharing)

3. Platform Integrity

Users must not:

  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or replicate the Platform
  • Use the service in a way that could damage our reputation or other users' experience
  • Launch campaigns designed to generate fake engagement or disrupt ad auctions

4. Compliance Requirements

All use of the Platform must comply with:

  • Applicable advertising laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, ePrivacy Directive, AVMSD)
  • Local marketing rules and disclosure obligations (e.g., #ad, sponsored)
  • Ponta’s Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions

5. Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in:

  • Temporary or permanent suspension of your account
  • Removal of content or ad campaigns
  • Legal reporting and cooperation with authorities
  • Termination of business relationships

We reserve the right to take action based on our own assessment of risk and harm.

7. Policy Updates

We may revise this Policy from time to time. Changes take effect upon publication, and continued use of the Platform implies acceptance.
